Oral antihistamines such as cetirizine or loratadine may also help relieve itching in some people.<\/p>\n<p>However, medical evaluation is recommended if the rash is rapidly spreading, becomes very painful, develops pus, is accompanied by fever, or causes significant swelling.<\/p>\n<p>If swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat occurs, or if there is difficulty breathing, <strong>seek emergency medical attention immediately<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A photograph cannot establish the exact cause of a rash.
